Heléne Jean (she/they)
In 2009 while studying music, Heléne Jean began her career in the beauty industry in Seattle, Washington at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute. During her time at GMAI, Heléne was fortunate enough to travel to London, UK with one of the founders of the school, the late Gary Howse. Those experiences forever changed Heléne by giving her a global perspective on the beauty industry as well as music & fashion, which has continued to inspire her to this day.
After a few years working at a local barbershop (Rudy's), she decided to escape the rain and gloom of Seattle by moving to Atlanta in 2012. Heléne has always specialized in shorter hair styles, but truly found her passion in barbering and men's hairdressing. She finds joy and satisfaction not only in the art of the craft itself, but the relationships built from the experiences at the shop.
At the moment, Heléne is taking on new short haircut clients on a case by case basis. Please choose "new client short haircut" as it is 30 minutes and give yourself 5-10 minutes to find the shop.
